LOOK OUT IN THE BLACKOUT
‘Look out in the blackout’ is a publication inspired by the blackout in WW2. The book is made up of tiny scattered messages commonly used at that time to warn people about the darkness. They are all printed in black ink on black paper to make them hard to see to convey what people had to go through. The back cover is Liverpool’s landscape in 1939. This is to show the darkness of the whole city at that time.
